The first of these Friday emails was March 13, 2020. I began sending due to the Coronavirus closures as we tried to use every means available to communicate to/with the DAC family. Obviously, the pandemic is still a reality (for the first time our immediate family has been directly affected). But, because of our current status with online and in-person ministries my assessment is the original, coronavirus related, needs for the weekly email have expired.
Everyone seems well informed about our status. Further, as you can empathize, the workload for the church staff has increased exponentially these months and heightened the need to be even more strategic in the use of our time and energies. So, I am wondering about the relevance or need to continue this weekly communication. The key question I need answered; is it meeting a need? If continued it will serve a different purpose, and become a general weekly “epistle” from me.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:(Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV)
So, if you are a regular non-reader or ambivalent you don’t need to do anything. But, if you do want me to continue composing and sending please send an email reply to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and say “keep em coming.”
Lastly, a big thank you to Pastor Bill Hartman who submitted the last two emails in my absence. Great job as always Bill.
Thanking God for you, I remain;
Yours in Jesus,
Pastor Brad
